Bryston has made a Mono Block version of this amp for many years. The current version
includes fancy new transformers, circuit breakers and a bunch of new parts that you can
read about on Bryston’s site. The
important thing about the latest, greatest version of these magnificent amps is that they
blend practically unlimited power- with grace.
They were always fast, dynamic and tight. Now they provide smoothness to compete with most
expensive tube amps- yet have the advantages of enormous power. We
have the SEVENS available to hear with a myriad of wonderful speaker choices. We have
several B&W N800 models, Magnepans, and Paradigm Sigs. I guaranty you’ll be
shocked at how wonderful these amps sound! You’ll hear bass from speakers that you
would swear… the speakers couldn’t produce. The
difference is so clearly appreciated that you’ll even hear it on smallish speakers
like B&W 805D and Paradigm’s Sig 2. Even though I’ve been a hobbyist since
the late 60s (that would be 1960s) and been in the biz since 1973 while in college, I
