Panasonic Premier Plasmas

Panasonic has just introduced its Premier range of plasmas to the market. The Premier range will be their best plasmas, the tip of the top of their Pro Series.

The Pro Series doesn’t have a tuner or speakers. They know you’ll do better.

We’ve sold the Pro Series for a decade. They have been the most reliable plasmas we’ve ever sold! Their picture quality has been outstanding too, right there with Pioneer Elite. In fact, Pioneer Elite purchased Panasonic Pro Plasma glass panels for its plasmas! With Pioneer exiting the TV biz, Panasonic Pro stands alone at the top of the mountain. And they’ve just gotten better!

To give us the cherry on the top of the sundae Panasonic Pro now has a PREMIER option which is a cut above the Pro Series we’ve come to love. We now have both the Premir 65 and Premier 50 on display. To see a picture this good, this big, dripping with deep black and yet giving a bright picture with rich color… quite jaw dropping!

You’ll see the contrast ratio has improved. Premier is 60:000:1, The Pioneer Elite and regular Pro Series is 30:000:1. The black level is better than Pioneer Elite. Color gradation is also the best available, measuring 28% better than lesser models.

The biggest difference to your eye in comparing the Premier to Panasonic Pro or Pioneer Elite is the Premier's superior shadow definition of black level. It's extraordinary = state of the art!

If you want the best and biggest TV picture, you want Panasonic. The new Premier's provide the best picture available. If you’re serious about wanting the best TV performance on the market, stop in to see it for yourself.

Panasonic Premier 65 Review

By Terry Paullin of Widescreen Review:

"The Premier rendered this NTSC cadre nearly as well as anything I have seen this side of a $40k front projector. Some say it’s easy to make HD look good. I used to believe that myself. But now that we are transitioning from the mass market to the lets-build-it-as-cheap-as-we-can market, I‘m constantly reminded that not all HD is created (or rendered) equal. While PDPs in general are superior display devices (compared to LCD based technologies), the difference between plasmas is ever more apparent. The Pioneer Kuro took a huge step ahead of everything else out there and now the Premier has joined/replaced that vaulted position. I don’t recall seeing anything better looking including the several Kuros I’ve calibrated.

Throughout 2008 I was very thankful for the Pioneer Elite Kuro. Now comes the Panasonic Premier with nearly 15% more viewing area (a more enveloping movie experience) and arguably better performance and most certainly easier, more versatile set-up. All hail the new PDP King, the Panasonic Premier!"
