Paradigm has always made
speakers that offer a fine value. They have given us big, powerful sound from modest sized
cabinets in the Monitor Series for years. Our customers have been very pleased with them!
But… there have been
customers that wanted speakers that look more
elegant than the Monitor Series- for similar money. Paradigm has listened and brought out
its SE Series.
Paradigm wouldn’t be
content to just slap Monitor Series components in prettier cabinets. Nope! Paradigm has
indeed made the SE Series more “special” than the Monitors. The SEs use
Reference Series drivers and crossovers. The result is a smoother, more sophisticated top
end sonically. The bass and middle has more power and control.
There’s no doubt the
cosmetic finish is a big reason for the SE models. The real wood finishes of piano gloss
black and rosenut are gorgeous. I’m a big gloss black fan myself. They go with
anything and tend to look “smaller” than they actually are. But stop in for a
listen. You’ll be impressed by how smooth they sound. They’re a nice step above
the Monitors Series. Now in stock in gloss black!
