Model Two consists of a "base unit" which has an AM-FM radio and the controls. It comes with a companion speaker, hence the term Two- yielding stereo sound.

The Tivoli CD player is a substantial piece of hardware. It isn’t a $29 portable in sheep’s clothing. It is a Tivoli cd blacksingle play tray and has a sturdy drive mechanism that tracks very well. The CD comes with remote (Model Two doesn’t) and has a fair number of programming features. The CD Player comes in a matching wooden cabinet that provides considerable isolation compared to its competition.

While you’re going this far… consider the powered sub. With a 5 ½" long throw sub, you can round out the bottom end nicely. No, it isn’t going to challenge your B&W sub. But….
