B&W’s
top of the line 800 Matrix Series has been redone! The last batch stayed on the market for
about seven years, introducing new concepts of drivers and cabinet design to the world.
They’ve done it again as this new 800 Series will undoubtedly last a full audio
generation as well. The 800 Series features elegantly curved cabinet design to control
resonance AND look beautiful.

804s has the alum tweet, 6" Kevlar surroundless
mid and two 6 ½" Rohacell woofs. Rohacel is a new woof material which is much
thicker and stronger than plastic, sandwiched in between carbon fibre skins.

803s has the alum tweet, 6" Kevlar surroundless
mid and two 7" Rohacell woofs. 803s is a prodigious speaker that confidently commands

The D in 803D stands for DIAMOND. The tweet
diaphragm is made of diamond- a more perfect piston than… ANYTHING else that has ever
been designed! The frequency response extends out to 80k which means there are no audible
glitches to the tweeter response as with other designs. The 803D uses the 6" Kevlar
surroundless mid and three 7" Rohacell woofs. This is simply put, a stunning,
groundbreaking performer. Never before has this level of sophistication been available for
anywhere near this price range!

802D uses the diamond tweet, of course! It also
uses B&W’s famed Marlan head to minimize color of the 6" surroundless Kevlar
mid. The woofer cabinet houses two thunderous 8" Rohacell drivers. The resulting
package looks like the prior N800 with the most sophisticated tweeter system the market
knows!

801D is the evolution of the famed N801. With
diamond tweet and state of the art 15" Rohacell woof, 801D is sure to become a studio

except it uses two 10" Rohacell woofs instead of 8s.

HTM2D is similar to HTM3 above, but with
B&W’s new DIAMOND tweet!

HTM1D brings B&W’s Marlan midrange head

WM-2 is similar to WM-4 below with lesser driver quality. The 1" tweeter is plastic instead of aluminum. The mounting brackets isn’t as flexible either.

Uses 1" alum Naut tweet, 5" fiberglass woof. 87db efficient
WM-6, $600pr: 11 3/4h,6 3/8w,9 5/8d
Uses 1" alum Naut tweet, and 6.5" fiberglass woof. 5 yr warranty even in Wisconsin! 88db efficient, has respectable bass too. We sell as many of these as surround speakers as we do for all weather use! WM-6 has much better bass and higher efficiency than WM-4. You gotta get this one!
LEISURE MONITOR SERIES
LM-1 $350pr: 11h,5.5w,7.5d (Black,White,Burgundy,Silver)
This little guy comes with a wall bracket- not ceiling mountable. The cabinet is ABS plastic. It has a 5" polypropylene woof and 1" poly tweet- the tweets are mounted atop the cabinet- for nice open air sound and dispersion. This is especially nice as a computer or surround speaker. While it sounds clean and pleasant, it isn’t sonically competitive with the 303s or 600s.
VM-1 $225ea: 20 5/8h,4 7/8w,3 3/4d (White, Black, Silver)
This magnetically shielded speaker is typically used as "3 wall mounted across the front" in a surround system. It has an ABS enclosure, and uses the same driver configuration as LM-1 above. It has a high tech style and built in mounting provision. Sonic character is pleasant, but again not 303 or 600 level.
AS-1 Matching Sub, $250: 15h,9 3/4w,15 1/4d (Black,Silver)
Uses a 6.5" polypropylene woof and 85w amp. Line level or spkr level connections, Flowport vent.
