Streamer Plus $300 The Music Streamer Plus (MS+) is a new product designed to take the USB out of your computer and connect to your hifi system. With on board DAC and analog out- the connection couldnt be easier! MS+ is a clean interface- eliminating USB noise. Up until now, handshaking USB out of your computer to a fancy hifi, was pretty kludgy and musically murky, MS+ changes all that! Its sound is stronger in the bass, smoother and more effortless in dynamics than prior offerings. You no longer have to buy an integrated amp with DAC on board to get high end computer music. You can seamlessly connect your computer to the fancy hifi gear you already own! MS+ doesnt have an outboard power supply. It derives its power from the USB buss circuitry. It has a built in DAC to let your host computer talk to your hifi system. All you do is connect the USB of your computer into MS+, and run analog out into your hifi. MS+ has unique topology to create the handshake. MS+ works with iTunes and Windows Media Player. It also interfaces with Internet Radio and music subscription services like Rhapsody and Napster. You can make them all sound better now. Were happy to brag that it is built in the US! Now On Display and In Stock! The Rotel RA Series that we bragged about in December has arrived- albeit a little later than planned! Rest assured it has been worth the wait. For an elegant CD player and integrated amp at $600 each, The RA Series models are an excellent choice.
For those of you housing music on your computer, run the USB out into the Music Streamer Plus (above), and feed it into the Rotel RA stack. For $1500 you have a very full performing system. Toss on some B&W 685s and for just over $2k you have very serious music! Kimber IsoMike CDs We have the majority of these great CDs in stock now. In addition to marvelous clarity and space, IsoMike teaches us what dynamic range really is! These are SACDs with hybrid layers- so anybody can play them! Ray Kimber of Kimber Kable has created these wonderful CDs. Hes trying to get some of the big labels to convert to his technology. Dont hold your breath but it would be nice! Mike Scott Its been four years since Mike died. It seems like yesterday. We were fortunate to work with Mike for 16 years! Dont forget to take a minute to smell some roses! |
