Santoprene

          The new technology revolves around several things, but the big deal is a new Santroprene surround material and the way it melds to the driver cone. They have “overmolded” the cone and created a molecular bond with the surround and the cone itself. The result is a new level of efficiency- virtually horn-like!

          The value TO YOU is that you can get a lot of mileage out of pretty generic receivers. If you take your typical Sony rated at 100w times 7, but boil out the BS in the power claims, the power is actually about 30 w/ch by RMS standards! These new Paradigms are so efficient that they are very forgiving of such low powered receivers!

Titanium Tweets

          Paradigm used to use Ceramic/Metal composite tweets. Now the Monitor Line uses a brand new, highly efficient Titanium tweeter.

MICP Mids

          There is a new Minimum-Mass Injected Co-Polymer cone for mid use. This is lighter and stronger than the polypropylene they’ve used in the past.

Carbon Infused Woofs

          The new Carbon infused woofs have more kick and efficiency than the prior bextrene models.
