Diminish The Reverb In Your Listening Room $250/pair

There is an acoustical problem in practically every listening room we encounter.

REVERB
SLAP ECHO
DRYWALL BOUNCE

Call it whatever you like, but it’s there. Almost always. With a nice hi-fi system or home theater, the goal is to hear the speakers, not the REFLECTION of the speakers after bouncing off the walls. Reflections sound like echos. We want to hear the music sans reverb!

Remember gym class where the coach is bellowing away and you can’t understand a word he’s saying due to echo? It was worse yet for those of us who played hockey. Talk about reflective
surfaces and reverb!

In a traditional living room setting the reverb is almost as bad. The walls are usually drywall.
The floors are often wood. There’s often a high or cathedral ceiling. Talk about highly resonant and obnoxious acoustics! Since your wife runs the aesthetic show in the living room we know your hands are often tied. About all you can do is, when she’s not home and you’re listening critically, pull
the speakers way out from the walls and place them so you hear the speakers BEFORE the slap echo. Invariably she won’t like where those speakers have to end up.

There’s another solution. SLOW DOWN the reverb. Diminish the slap echo. You do this by
placing ZORBER PANELS on the wall.

Our experience shows you need to dampen 20-25% of the wall surfaces of the room. Yep,
that means you need a lot of coverage. While we have offered acoustical panels for many years,
the fact is that not many customers are willing to ante up $3k to treat a room properly. It takes a load of 2×4 panels and a fair amount of work to put them up- to do the job. So we have an alternative.

ZORBER PANELS make for a cost effective way to treat your room. The typical listening room needs six.

Each panel is $125. You buy them in two packs. Hence $250 for two. The absorbing coefficient
is a damping factor of .67 NRC. ZORBERS are made efficiently and come in “Innies” & “Outies.”
The Innie is 2” thick, 66H and 43W. The Outie is 2” thick, 69H and 45W. They’re downright inexpensive compared to ANYBODY’S 2×4 panel- where the typical price is $150-200 for a single panel. ZORBERS are easy to install and come in charcoal only- which keeps the price low.

Now, we know most wives won’t want any of this “fancy decorating” in their living rooms. So we recommend that you commandeer ONE room in the house for your Man Cave. Be it the Den/Office, family room, the basement, an upstairs room where a kid departed… take whatever that space is and make it YOURS.

One of the best things you can do when you CLAIM that room, is to KILL THE REVERB in that room so you hear your speakers, not the REFLECTION of your speakers! ZORBER PANELS are the easiest way to get the job done!
