The driver is a football field deep and needs a special support mechanism in the rear of the enclosure.
Not only is it more massive than anything else out there- it sounds deeper/tighter.
E-112, is not your garden variety woofer, screwed into a flimsy box with a plate amp off the shelf.
E-112 also features bass management if you can employ it. You can run your preamp IN- and then run OUT to your power amp. NOW, your wing speakers (and amp driving them) won’t be encumbered trying to play deep bass- which they can’t do as well as E-112 anyway.
