NAD-C538 $350

C-538 is a great budget player! Built on a steel chassis, C-538 is a solid tracker. It features a 24 bit Wolfson DAC and fine op amps of low distortion. While it isn’t as transparent as C-568 below, for $350 it punches above its weight.
C-538 has RCA analog outs. It also has Coax and OPT digital outs. C-538 wins us over with its warm, musical sound. It doesn’t have the grain and bite that virtually all other $500 players wear you down with!
