Bryston BR20 Preamp/DAC Now In Stock! $6800
My favorite preamp is Bryston’s BR20. It happens to have a state of the art DAC built in as well. There is no better preamp in our biz. I can say the same for the DAC. To get both built into one chassis for $6800 is a downright bargain.
Due to supply chain problems Bryston has been back ordered on BR20 for up to a year! It was introduced in Dec of 2020, right at the peak of C19. Every customer who has ordered one up to now, has had to wait at least six months.
Well, we ordered a bunch, and we waited. And we waited some more. And a little more after that.
But finally, at long last, our shipment has arrived! For the first time EVER we have the incredible BR20 in stock, in black. Before BR20 came out Bryston made the BP17, which sold for $5k. They still sell the BDA3 DAC for $3400. Today, you can get the new BR20 with built in BDA3- on one chassis, including remote (generally an a la carte purchase from Bryston) for $1600 less!
